Ebay is not syncing with firefox for many sellers . Tried and done everything to include deleting enhanced tracking, clearing all add-ons, clearing history, clearing cache & cookies, deleting and reinstalling firefox, caling ebay reps numerous times. All is temporarily fixed when deleting enhanced tracking or clearing cache & cookies or resetting firefox or restarting pc. But it all returns in a very short time. for example: the ebay seller hub page boxes that separate the categories, disappear and all the content of those boxes is thrown on the left side in a very long 2" wide vertical column. Same thing occurs with the description page whereas my description paragraph is thrown to the left side of page in long vertical 2" wide columns. All over the pages are these "<" marks blown up to 2" wide??? This all has been going on for approx 5 months causing me to either reset firefox or restart my desktop pc every few days to temporarily squelch the problem and allow me to go on. I think the way forward on this problem is figuring out why shutting down and resetting stops the problem for awhile and allows ebay to sync with firefox, only to have it return again. I have tried microsoft Edge and it works great with ebay but as you guys might know, Edge has no taskbar with all the things needed by an ebay seller, so please don't make this about switching to Edge, Chrome or other browsers, as that to me is giving up on the real problem, which is why ebay can't sync with FIREFOX. Been selling on ebay now for 20 years and 18 of those have been with firefox. There is a reason for any problem and someone, somewhere knows how to correct this problem. I MAY ADD THAT THESE PROBLEMS ARE ONLY SEEN ON MY END AND I BELIEVE THAT BUYERS OR OTHERS VISITING MY SIGHT DON'T SEE THIS MESS. Darn shame that we are forbidden these days to talk live with a technician from either firefox or ebay. Maybe an ebay Tech will see this post and call me !! Meanwhile I hope someone else reading this post can shed a light on this problem. Thanks

I use Firefox and have not had any significant incidence of the problems you described.
I do on occasion get all my text shoved to the left. But if I close THAT PAGE ONLY and re-open it it works just fine. But in truth that happens very rarely.
I might suggest the problem is with eBay's programs not Firefox.

I have run into the problem of item descriptions showing in a two inch wide strip from time to time while using Firefox. Usually, refreshing the page is enough to get the page to format correctly. Possibly try holding down the shift key while refreshing to bypass the cache and load the page entirely from the web.
Usually lots of unformatted, left justified text with a few large arrow icons are a sign of style sheets not loading for that page.
If the problem persists in Firefox, it might be worth trying another version such as Firefox Developer Edition. That can be installed in parallel with your current Firefox browser, and it can be used at the same time and it will use its own cache and cookies, but you can still easily import or share bookmarks or extensions, and keep your Firefox setup as is.
It is also possible to add a menu bar to Edge using an extension like Proper Menubar.

just to agree with others..............I've used firefox for years.........and no continuing problems.....
What version are you using? I note that I have a new version to download.....

Next time this happens, click on the Shield icon ahead of the address bar and turn Enhanced Tracking Protection OFF, and see if that corrects the problem.
In the past FF techs found that eBay was using servers that are on a block list for tracking protection for hosting ads you may want to block. So either eBay needs to move its CSS files to servers that are considered safe (i.e. do not host ad content) or you need to switch to a less strict content blocking list or disable Enhanced Tracking Protection altogether.

Firefox synching with anything is a problem . Has been for the past few years.
Out of curiousity, what purpose does synching fireflop with eBay serve?

It is not a matter of syncing, it is a problem with the style sheets (CSS) not loading, which determines the format of the page.

We report a lot of bugs to CS. Usually they know exactly what and why it's an issue. Recently, one rep tried to tell us that Firefox was the cause of all our problems and that we need to change to Google Chrome.
We don't believe him and we hate Google. No way will we switch.

It is not Firefox, which I have found to be the most reliable browser to use with ebay.

just reset firefox and have the latest version, but doesn't help

As I stated above in this post, closing enhanced tracking do not solve the problems stated, but it does solve other problems with firefox.

Well if it was properly syncing, it would work perfectly just as all other browsers work well with ebay. There is just some little problem here in firefox that is difficult to find and resetting firefox doesn't solve it. As I stated, it is only what I am seeing on my sites and not with what buyers and other viewers see. That clue seems like it would be easy to solve.

Can't offer much more advice............millions use it, so got to be something in your settings that is causing the problem. I would turn off every "extra" that I had running, one at a time to see if you can spot the clash, virus programs used to a culprit on some things, there was a password thingy that people were having to deep six because of conflicts at one time. .......perhaps try firefox for help......
Better half uses Chrome and no problem with it....so other browsers are an alternative..........

then how can that be checked?
