ebay let me buy the same label twice but for the wrong item

shipping my last two items out and when I went to the last one pants it printed another exact label with different tracking for the previous item a sweater.   So now i still have the pants to ship but was charged for both labels.  Anyone else?   This also happened to me a few months ago.

No, that's never happened to me.

Cancel one of the labels; you'll get a refund. Print another label for the pants.

They'll let you do it again too.  Try to print the label from the item listing page instead of any link from the seller hub.  It's like driving a car.  You have to be aware of what you' re doing.

EBAY doesn't know how many labels you need for your shipment (that's for you to decide).   Just cancel the 2nd label that you don't need.   Go to ORDERS, SHIPPING LABEL (cancel label).

After printing the first label, by any chance did you use a link that said something like Print another label ?

The print another label function is for printing additional labels for the same order, not for a different order.
