I've got a couple thousand items I haven't even listed yet, then I get the message today that eBay is removing the "adult only" category. I don't even think we'll get a clear answer on that, even though it's stupid and they're going to lose a ton of money for it. I'm too tired of eBay doing stupid things to care anymore.
But the bottom line is that I do have stuff that needs to be sold. Amazon seems like a pretty terrible place to sell anything used like magazines/movies. What other platforms might be good for selling adult magazines or videos?

just another company who got on the "Cancel Culture" bus that is speeding across the country. PATHETIC but then again "someone" might be offended. OH the horror!!!

Have they actually removed Adult Items? or is it just another category that is being adjusted ?
Did you receive notification from eBay about it, if so, can you post it here please?

And where do we sell our inventories now?
Just visit any thread where a seller says he is leaving because eBay took away the Classic View.
Most of those seller say that they have found plenty of awesome sites with much better sales than eBay, and with much lower fees than eBay, and that are much easier to use than eBay.

I don't think it's cancel culture as much as the banks along with Visa and MC not wanting to deal in categories that have high fraud. I've dealt with banks and merchant accounts for years and encountered this problem. It's not them being prudish, just not wanting to deal in merchandise that attracts fraud. The trouble is, tangible adult items are really not that fraud laden. It's digital adult merch that has the problem. But to banks, it's all the same. If eBay wanted to keep the adult category, they could employ a second bank that is willing to do this (there are plenty) and simply pay a higher % rate, which they would then transfer in fees to the sellers.

You can try wmwdotstreetcornertrenchcoatdoatnet
I only list back issues of Playboy but don't shoot too many photos of the photos in my listings. I wonder if we will be able to list them with only the front and back covers in the photos? Maybe the table of contents.

This is politics. I don't buy the fraud/banking splain. Many ways to solve that.
Adult material gets the pincer from Right and Left. Religious Right always hates porn, would have banned it long ago if they were in control. And on Left the Feminists, now with added Woke Power. Total Combo Clout gets their way.

There is a place, PAYPAL!
