ebay is not taking down listings for sale after seller ends "Buy It Now" listings early - Tech Issue

ebay selling page is not allowing me to end "Buy It Now" listings.  This is a tech issue.  I have been trying to end a "Buy it Now" listing with no offers multiple times and the item is still up for sale on ebay.  I go through the process of selecting a reason for ending a listing early, which in this case was for "item no longer available for sale," and then I get the ebay confirmation page but ebay still has the item still up for sale.  No matter how many times I go through the end item process, the "Buy it Now" item is still up for sale.  Again this ebay listing is a Buy It Now item with no offers.  This is a technical issue on ebay I have found where I am getting stuck with a for sale listing that I cannot take down.  I do not what someone to end up buying this item that is no longer for sale but I am not finding any way to get ebay's automated system to follow through with actually removing listing after I take all the correct steps to end item.

I'm having the same issue. Looks like more ebay glitches. I can't end a listing. It's my item and if I want to end it, I should be able to do so.

Yes, another ebay tech glitch on their system.  I tried with different web browsers.  This new ebay tech glitch is not allowing sellers to end listings at all.  I can still edit my listing that I want to take down so I changed the duration to the shortest duration and made the price unreasonably high.  This tech glitch could harm sellers, though, because it creates the possibilty of buyers purchasing items that are no longer for sale.  So, when buyers have purchased an item that is cancelled by the seller because the ebay automated system had not taken down the Buy It Now listing, then who do you think the upset buyer will blame?

The ebay end item process will go through all the normal steps except 1) take down the listing and 2) send the confirmation message, which asks you if you want to relist, to your personal email.  I selected "item no longer for sale" multiple times as the reason to end listing but that listing is still present as active on my selling page. Also, I have verified listing is active by doing an ebay search and seeing the item listing in search results.

I just gave it a try and ended one of my listings and had no problems. I ended it from the Listings tab in Seller Hub, and after putting a checkmark by the item I was ending, I chose End from the drop down along the very top row.

So then I just ended another one the same way except I used the dropdown next to the listing to end it - also everything seems okay. Both listings are gone. Both of them were Buy It Now listings.

I just went to my store and looked to be sure and neither is showing up. Searched too, and they're not coming up there either.
