ebay USPS postage not uploading tracking to PayPal

I asked this on the shipping board but got no responses so thought I would ask here.

I noticed that none of my USPS postage tracking numbers purchased through ebay are being uploaded to Paypal for the last several days.

So, I tried to manually enter them into Paypal and I get "We're experiencing technical difficulties" for the last 24 hours.  Therefore, I cannot upload the tracking numbers to Paypal.

Anyone else having this problem?

Didn't notice.  Didn't even know that paypal ever has the tracking numbers.  I rely on eBay for that information.   Maybe someone has a answer for you.

I tried searching the PP community boards but that is like pulling teeth.  Closest thing was from 2011.

Oh geesh ...  6 year ago!  If it's happening to you, you can't be the only one -- it's early yet, I bet when others start to wake up they may have some suggestions.

Same here. Today the upload page is blank. On hold to speak to CS, has been 1 hour so far.

Hi; I just checked my paypal and my last sale had ADD TRACKING too. But when you go into DETAILS of the sale the tracking number is there. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much!  I checked my details and the tracking number is there within the details.  Still annoying though that it is showing add tracking and print shipping label.  Will try to call later.

I've been thinking about this thread and hope someone will explain to me why this would matter.  I print through ebay and know to make sure the tracking is there, but I never even look at paypal to see if they show up there too.

Because it use to be that if you did not show tracking in PP then PP would sometimes put your money on hold until you could prove it was delivered. 

I think they only hold the money now for new sellers and that would be very crucial to a new seller if they can't get tracking to upload because PP would not release their money.

Okay, good to know.   I didn't want to have one more thing to have to check and worry about, so I'll cross this one off the list for now.

Because I have multiple IDs it's easier & faster to check PayPal (which I always do before shipping anyway) to see how many items need to be shipped today and it's irritating to see the blue bold which usually means you haven't shipped it yet on transactions that already have tracking.
