I have been selling on eBay since about 5 years, had very good sales but since past 5 months my account and the listings are totally bugged and effected my sales drastically which are now down to 60-70%.
The issue is, i revise the price of the product (lower it), when the item sells, the price of that product gets back to the previous price, the description of the listing automatically vanishes or becomes a link which is not directly visible in the listing. Same happens when i add promotion, the items are discounted, when the item sells first time, the promotion ends on the item, price gets back to the original but in the list of active promotions, the item appears in the active promotion.
I have emailed eBay customer service about a dozen of times since past 5-6 months and they have no possible solution to my problem. Someone said that they are familiar with the problem and are trying to work it out, the technical team is working on it, another representative said that there is no such problem in their system nor in my listings whereas i clearly provided them all the proofs, and then another representative recently replied which was not even an answer close to what my problem is.
I am very disappointed with the customer service replies which are of no help. We have maintained huge stocks according to our sales on eBay but the sales are constantly dropping, the reason is the price which automatically changes and gets back to the higher price and then there is no description in the listing due to which the buyer would of course not purchase the product.
I have also checked the listing revisions and it clearly shows when the item was sold, the price, description and policies of the listing automatically changed.
Here i am seeking for the help in how can i resolve this problem? Have anyone else experienced this problem as well?
