No way one can save money if one buys. I'd not even consider a store with so few listings. Hang in there...

Unless you have over 250 listings, new or rolling over per month, a store will save you nothing.

I think if you do the math, you start saving money with a basic store sub at around 400 listings (Don't recall the specific amount).
Also you get a storefront page as well.

There are a number of different store subscription levels. Each store subscription level essentially buys you a different fee structure.
Each seller has a unique level of activity, and there is no single answer to your question. You will need to run the numbers based on your particular situation.

A store subscription doesn't save you money, it costs you money.

As others have stated, you will need more listings to really start seeing the savings. When you do get to that level, make sure you read how many free listings each store gives you and maybe try it month to month instead of committing to a whole year subscription. IMHO

Well, that’s not entirely true.
It depends on the store level and the number of listings.
I have an anchor store ($299 per monthly) and because I have a store my FVF drops from 13.25% to 12.35%. Now that may not seem like much but $5000 a monthly in sales saves me $45.00 a month in fees. Then I get a $150 coupon for free shipping supplies that apportions to $50 per month. While it has been noted that the supplies seem to be overpriced the fact that I get them for free saves me the cost of having to buy them elsewhere.
Then I have 11,000 listings. Even at 5 cents per piece beyond the standard 250 free I would get without a store that saves me $537 per month.
Total savings 45+50+537-299 store fee = still leaves me $333 ahead.
Of course, the actual FVF savings depends on the amount of sales I make each month. As the holidays approach and sales rise so does my savings. But in truth the savings in listing fees alone ($537) pays for my monthly subscription ($299).
But as I said at the beginning, your mileage may vary depending on the type of store and number of listings.
THEN there is the additional benefit of a store that you can direct people to see all your listings grouped and categorized with, theoretically at least, the option of additional add on sales.

Have you ever checked to see if the premium versus anchor store would work for the amount of listings you have? I believe it offers an additional 50k listings in certain categories like collectibles. This could save you even more money.

Well, the advantage might not be apparent at first. I have the starter store at $7.95 a month. Yes, I know I get the same number of free listings as no store, but I get to run sales and place my items in categories for the convenience of my shoppers. Considering I have things from antique tools to kitchenware, it's a smart investment fo rme.
