eBay requesting SS# when it is already on file

Has anyone else received an email to provide SS# when you already have one on file? Says funds on hold until I enter number because of 1099K purposes. This was in my inbox on both eBay and email. When I go to the page you can clearly see the last 4 of my Social... looks completely legit on all ends but I'd like to hear from any of you for peace of mind. Thank You

Well with the 2022 1099 requirements maybe eBay is double checking

One of our own said he re-entered the numbers and the system said 'thank you'!  So go to your account info and just re-put in the numbers and see if that works.

Full robot system future, me thinks. Not too annoying.
