Is selling used phones not allowed to be sold for parts? I had listed an iPad mini with Apple cloud locked and eBay took that down stating kill switch violation. Today another listing of mine was taken down stating the same kill switch issue. The item in question was a Samsung S8 with the back missing and sim tray missing. The phone was for parts only as it does not power on. I called customer service both the times and they were vague about the listing policy . I understand the iPhone apple id locked issue but this s8 phone is just for parts. The customer service representative stated that there was no way for eBay to confirm if the phone was working or not and that the phone appears to be intact as one unit. Their suggestion was to take it apart and sell as parts. I am totally lost as to what is triggering these delisting. Any light shed on this issue is much appreciated.
