I listed a part off of a vehicle of mine among many others, and one listing was removed due to it "bypassing emissions" etc etc. Their new policy about tuning devices and the like. Which okay, that's their decision. However the part/listing they removed was a part I'm selling that came on the vehicle when the car was brand new in 2003. This part is from the factory. OEM. Not modified or anything. Literally a downpipe, a component of the exhaust system that again, came on the car when it was brand new. I've called eBay and they can't give me an answer other than their system automatically removed it and it will continue to remove it because it's against the policy. So apparently eBay's policy is you can't sell oem parts anymore. How infuriating and frustrating. The amount of ineptitude and ignorance these days is alarming.

Hi @leethaxir
I don't know why you jumped to the conclusion that all OEM parts are banned on eBay. You had only one part removed. Unfortunately, nobody can tell you what word(s) in the listing might have triggered the removal by a 'bot'.
Regardless of the reason ... DO NOT relist it, because it now is in a bot's memory ... and relistings will be found quickly. [You'll start receiving restrictions until your account is suspended permanently.]

I say "all oem parts" because the guy I spoke to basically said this part is illegal to sell. I say it's an oem part, and he says it can't be listed. If A then B, and B then C, therefore A then C sort of deal here. Simple argument logic. Either allow all oem parts, or none. Not randomly pick some in your flawed system and remove them with no means of correcting the issue and allowing them.
