eBay punishes sellers for doing what they told them to do

Buyer returned an item with $40+ postage due. I was instructed to refuse it and the eBay ruled that I should have accepted it,therefore the buyer gets the money and the part. Sellers,beware what they tell you on the phone. It means nothing. They continue to abuse their sellers.

I think you can go to your charge card company and file a charge back.  You should have 180 days there.

Why did you refuse this return, this was your auto part correct? Now it's going back to buyer and yes he gets the item and your money. Should have just paid the postage due.

It was refused because it was supposed to be returned to me post paid and EBAY REP TOLD ME TO REFUSE IT.
