Hi all,
I recently sold an item but recieved a notification in my seller dashboard that my funds are on hold and that I need to provide more information. Clicking on the link it took me to a page where I could verify my name, DOB, address was all correct and then a button to upload a photo ID. Realising I had forgotten to change my name I chaged it from XXXXX to YYYYY but clicking on the upload a photo ID button it asked me for a photo to prove XXXXX name rather than YYYYY name. Going back to the other page where I verified all my information I changed my name back to YYYYY as it had changed it back to XXXXX and clicked the save button without uploading a photo ID thinking it would save my new name and let me now upload a photo ID. After clicking save I got a message saying you're all set and that my funds are on hold until they can verify my identity. But will not let me click back on to upload my photo ID.
I have searched everywhere but can't find the option to let me upload my photo ID and now I'm worried eBay will not let me access my funds.
Any advice on what to do?
Thanks everyone.

Same issue. I had been using name xxxxx but changed it to yyyyy and added my social, upon doing so I was requested to upload a photo id which I did, and it keeps accepting it but saying I need to re upload it again. Frustrating to say the least as I have quite a lot of money in outstanding payouts.

Does the new name you are using exactly match the name of the bank account you are using for managed payments?

Several thoughts:
Lucky's suggestion to make sure names match precisely is good.
If problem is not yet resolved, you may need to call CS and immediately request to speak to Managed Payments team to get this straight. It may take a number of calls and persistence on your part to follow up frequently. You may need to gelt MP management to escalate your request to make progress.
In my case months ago my photo ID was in a perfectly good format that eBay mysteriously could not save to their system and had to be rescanned on my side.
Some sellers advise to use Facebook to better to get eBay assistance, but I'm not familiar with that.
Good luck. This all based on my previous, but maybe not up-to-date experience.

on the "confirm your info" page - make sure you type in your birthday and SSN -- they'll show as XX/XX/1974 etc, but when i re-typed them it finally accepted my photo.
