eBay lack of appeal process after they falsely strike something under counterfeit item policy

eBay has provided no resources or ability to appeal a Counterfeit item policy strike even if I as a seller have invoices and other paperwork proving an item is genuine as well eBay lets others post the exact same item but is not allow myself as a seller to be able to post this is clearly a large problem especially when a seller is sitting on thousands of dollars of a single sku.

Commonly sold emulator console which only held games in public domain. These are sold inside my local walmart and other stores. It was completely generically branded as well.

All invoices are not created equal and are not accepted to the same extent.

Invoices from the manufacturer's authorized wholesale distributors in the United States are more likely to be accepted.

And the product on the invoice must match the product you are selling right down to the brand name.

This has become a growing concern over the years with volume sellers, and here in 2023, is growing rampant pretty much across all categories of items. eBay seriously needs to implement some sort of appeal system or afford the opportunity to have an actual human look at these strikes, but it will likely never happen. I believe some strikes are brought about by bots that scan for keywords then proceed a takedown. Some may also be the branded company or 3rd party company that is set out to report listings to have them removed. The biggest problem with it all is the companies or bots can command your listings removed and eBay offers no help, no appeal, no closer look. After dealing with it for years it for years I've come to the conclusion that eBay simply does not care and will not help you. The best advice I can offer is move on from whatever the item was and take a loss. It certainly is irritating, believe me I know, but when it comes to listing removals, eBay does not care about invoices or paperwork. What they say goes, unfortunately, no matter the legitimacy or fairness. Do not relist the item because they will likely remove it again, and then you will only be a few warnings away from getting your selling privileges restricted.

My best word to you is do not go about eBay thinking they care for the sellers or buyers. They do not care about you whatsoever.

Uh, Walmart does NOT officially sell emulation consoles, period. It's possible you found a 3rd party seller selling an Abernic or similar on their site, but if you sort by "Retailer" and only choose Walmart, you won't find squat officially from them. Same with Amazon. Now Walmart does sell "retro" arcade cabinets and portable retro consoles, but those come pre-loaded with specific games like Namco titles or Konami titles. If you are certain Walmart sells a generically branded emulation console in their store, list the store #, exact item title and price. ....cuz I doubt that claim is accurate.

What you described sounds counterfeit infringing, sorry.

I have reported counterfeit software before because it makes legit software and similar being sold harder to sell/sort through.
