eBay is illegally charging tax on used items

In most if not all states, there is no tax on second hand items.  eBay is illegally taking our money.  I have tried this in two different states that both have no tax on second hand items, and I was still charged.

Then hire a lawyer and take them to court. Ebay has lots of money.

I agree, used items without a brick and mortar store front should not be charged sales tax. I do believe this is the real reason sales have dropped on ebay. The BUYERS dont want to pay added sales tax on the item + shipping.

I'd venture to say ONLY the states who don't add sales tax to anything anyway.
