eBay is a waste of time

I used to buy and sell things on eBay. I'm closing my account because the site sucks. The last three purchases I made never showed up. The last three things that I sold, well, the buyers never paid for and then forced me to cancel. I don't have time to waste on a website that promotes bad characters like this. I'll just keep my stuff. No point in even bothering with this site.

You should not discourage others, instead of giving up you could visit help and contact and search for a solution. There are plenty of solutions there, check out money back guarantee.

My sales are up, in fact a record year this year. Best I have ever done on ebay. Most all of my online purchases are on ebay with no problems. I wouldn't say it is the site that sucks. But thanks for letting us know.

My ebay story is a successful one. It wasn't always easy, but I certainly didn't quit because a couple things went wrong. This upcoming year is my 20th year. I have changed what I sell over and over. I have some stories of how everything went wrong, and I have stories how it all started coming together. This year has exceeded my best year on ebay by $10,000. Ebay does not suck. It might suck at how hard you have to work it. It might suck that you have your phone on day and night answering questions, taking offers and making sales. It might suck that you need to ship every day. But what does not suck is that CHA-CHING sound that my phone makes!

Venting can be good. 

Sometimes, late in the week, some people get tired of hearing the same vent and may not have much patience for it.

Not sure, but it sounds like you've skipped reading the Money Back Guarantee, so you don't know how to handle items not received or unpaid transactions.

It's good that you are leaving in that case because failing to use the tools given you here can cause a lot of pain and money loss.

New deal about unpaid item cases.  Seller waits four days for payment.  On the fifth day, he can cancel, citing unpaid item.  Or he can set it up so eBay automatically opens the case for him.  

Not sure sellers can open cases after 48 hours any more.
