Hi. I started selling after being off eBay for a while. I signed up for eBay global shipping but now I find out one winner lives in Russia. I only want to ship internationally with eBay global shipping and I see that they don’t ship there. Do I have to change my settings to block bidders from Russia? Not sure what to do. Thanks
Besides "blocking countries where I don't ship", be sure that your GSP is set up right. Go into the GSP global settings and be sure that your listings indicate GSP and no alternate shipping.
Somehow they got around the blocks if they were the high bidder on your Russian Barbie. Thats not suppose to happen unless they are working through a reshipper.
Luckily it wasn’t the Russian Barbie but a $5 doll. So, is there something that I should do to block the Russian bidders? I don’t send out invoices, just letting eBay take care of that so I guess she can’t pay now but somehow was able to bid
It has to be a problem on ebays side they shouldn't have been allowed to bid. You'll just have to select problem with address as the reason the sale can't be completed and relist...

When did they start blocking to Russia through GSP? I sold a purse recently to Russia - but then it was lost somewhere along the way. Perhaps this was happening a lot so they won't ship to Russia anymore? Hmmm. Interesting.

Did they change GSP? Once opted in to GSP you selected the countries you don't ship to,but GSP auto opts out on some countries with Russia being at the top of the list..
