eBay first listings

Hello I just created this account and posted my first listings but they don’t show up. 

I tried to look for my items with the “same name” of the listing that i used and I just couldn’t find it

Have you signed up for a seller account?  Done the bank account thing? 

If the item is showing up in your actives.......send the item #

I don't see any live listings, either. I don't know how long it's been, but it takes up to 24 hours for listings to index.

Hey @abrneg_10! Just as @mtgraves7984 whenever sellers create listings they can take up to 24 hours for the items listed to index through our system before the become searchable for any member on the site.

hello, do you know around how much it takes? It has been already up for 24 hrs and still nothing.

Did you link a checking account for payouts?

Did you confirm the micro-deposits eBay put in your checking account to verify it was a working account?

Did you attach a debit or credit card for seller fees that aren't taken from your payouts?

Does your country require a business license to sell online?

Go to:

My ebay > Selling > Listings > Active listings

That will tell you for sure if your listings are active.

Inhawaii makes a good point. Verify under your active listings tab of selling that your listings are indeed active, then if they still dont show up in search results or on your profile page, give it a little more time.

Honestly, the ebay rep is wrong. It can take MORE than 24hrs. It took my listings like 36hrs to first index. It all depends. I think I made my first listings between 12a - 9a one night (yeah I pulled an all night when i first started) and they werent up until the evening time the following day (36 ish hours). 

If it isnt up within 48hrs then be a little worried something is wrong. 48 hrs should be plenty of time.

Unless you listed some ridiculous high value items... i mean $1000's... mine were normal values ($40-$200), but even now some of my high value items ($800-$1000) take a tad longer than my average items -- couple hours at most usually minutes. With time and experience ebay pushes your listings through faster, new sellers get more scrutiny!
