eBay ending GTC listings. Not found in ended listings folder.

More of a vent here....

Why does ebay end my GTC BIN listings without notifying me? They just disappear entirely.

I sell plants on a seasonal basis. I sell BIN, and add inventory as my next crop is large enough to be sold. It can take as long a 6 months to propagate a plant to size.  I like to leave my listings active even when shipping season is over. This helps me get up and running quickly in spring.

Plants I sold a lot of last October are no longer there. But listings I never sold a plant on are still there!  Just because I haven't sold a particular plant in a while does not mean that I am no longer selling it. I sell on a rotational basis.

It is extremely frustrating when I have more to sell, the listing is no longer there. I have to find all the photo's all over again, write descriptions and create a new listing.

End Vent.

eBay's official policy on out-of-stock listings is that they will be ended if the quantity remains at zero for 180 days:

Did ebay end them all or just some?   I see 27 listings for you currently.

I actually have 63 active listings, but only 27 at the moment with inventory. Yesterday I had 64 total listings. Today I added back 1, but I now have 63 total. That means 2 more just totally disappeared. Now when I go to add some inventory to whatever those were, I will need to make a whole new listing. I wish they would just go to the ended listings folder. Then I can just relist when I have more.

The last 2 weeks I have noticed the same thing. I've also noticed listings that have sold a moth or more ago have be listed again with 1 qty. It makes no sense at all.

I wish these ended listings would be in the ended listings folder. The WERE ended. That way I can relist easier.
