eBay consistently showing wrong dates

Any seller who doesn't know this is an ongoing problem could easily lose their seller status if they follow the dates advised by eBay.

All of these listings have 1 day handling and should show an October 28 ship by date, but 7 out of 16 captured in this screenshot are showing an October 29 ship by date.

@Anonymous- this is not an isolated incident. I notice this pattern of wrong dates all the time.

Sounds like ebay entrapment 🙂

If ebay was the police, they'd have employees step out into the street just before you drive by so they can ticket you for not yielding to pedestrians.

Hi @coffeebean832, I can get this reported, I just need a current example that still shows the ship-by date. It looks like you've shipped all of these items already and I'm finding it difficult to view the details in this screenshot. If you run across this again please let me know and I'll be happy to send an example over to our shipping team. Thanks!

No kidding! I e-mailed a screenshot to Brian that he'll be able to see a lot better, but obviously all of my weekend orders have shipped already which includes the snippet of 16 from the screenshot. It will be difficult to get a live example to him since I ship with 1 day handling and a lot of my sales occur in the evening. I hope others will tag Brian on this thread if they have a current example to show him.

@coffeebean832 Thanks for emailing that! It's definitely a lot easier to read Smiley Happy The screenshot has the details I need to get this reported. Thanks!

Yea that happens to me too. Not just with ebay. Times I try to report glitches to CS that is in the middle of the fulfillment process, the agents always say that they can't see what I screenshotted. Obviously because I already worked around the glitch and processed the order. Sometimes the work-arounds causes delays, but we need to get these packages out nonetheless.

Usually it takes days for an agent to get to the issue or forward it to the appropriate department to address. But by then, because of our 1 day handling time... the problem no longer exists with that particular order because we processed it. Vicious cycle.
