Ive been seeing some disappointment with everything in my store lately. Is it just me? No sales dead ?

If its any consolation, I don't think it's just eBay.

Sellers come here every day to report slow sales.
Sales are down for some.
Sales are up for some.

Varies by seller. Whenever sales are slow I reduce prices cause market has changed.

Sales are a roller coaster ride, But recent polls are showing consumer confidence & spending are down, Probably has nothing to do with chicken costing as much as a fine steak, & having to take out a second mortgage to buy steak.

I'm sorry your sales are slow. Mine are too. Typically this time of year my sales are picking up for the upcoming holiday season. It is my hope that customers are just getting a late start this year.
Spend this extra time you have to update some of your titles as needed or adding to your descriptions or updating pictures. That can have a positive affect on your listings.

I made a sale for $100 and right after that they shut the power switch off. Makes no sense

Q4 begins---officially---in a few days. I'm expecting to see sales picking up. But, of course, a lot depends on what you list and what your strategy is. I have lots more seasonal stuff to get listed, and I plan in running some sales etc.
I think the overall economic situation is uncertain, but as a seller of used and vintage stuff who sources within the US, who is not reliant on international shipping...I think some things will favor my type of business, others might not. I'll just keep on plugging away regardless.

You can expect that this will likely change .

It would be nice to see EBay do a large marketing campaign- reminding people to shop here for the holidays.

I"ve found that sometimes holiday books will sell but right now I am pretty much tapped out. I have some other items that might have holiday relevance so they are on my list to organize soon.

The interesting thing is that traditionally January is even better than December and my guess is people buying for themselves. But overall it's not as good as it used to be. I'm not sure what to expect in Dec/Jan this year . I don't follow the news, did inflation magically go away under new government?

@keziak No, I don't believe inflation has magically gone away. But I do think there will be a fair bit of spending this year, and I think people selling used and vintage might get some benefit from concerns about higher prices on new stuff, and because vintage shopping is becoming more mainstream.....more people are willing to give used stuff as a gift.
I'm hoping we all have strong Holiday sales.

The first complaint about slow eBay sales was made in October 1995.
