Did you mean:

Annoying Buyer

I had a situation this past week where a buyer continued to send me low ball offers after I declined them. I blocked the buyer, but now he is messaging me.

The Buyer can message you, as you interacted with them to decline their offers.

Good that you BBL'd - sounds as if this is not going well with your persistent potential buyer!

You don't need to decline them, just let them expire. Then you don't open a line of communication between you and the person making the offer. Just block them as you have done.

In the settings there used to be an option to prevent messaging when you block another user . You had something like "allow e-mails" or "disallow e-mails" from blocked buyers. I can't find it right now...

Okay go here:

https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements

And then turn on "Don't allow blocked buyers to contact me"

That only works if there has been no previous interaction, OP will have to wait 30 days for this block to kick in as they have corresponded with this annoying buyer.

Unless rules have changed a buyer can only make 3 offers and then ebay cuts them off. I just reply no thank you or i like it and will keep it if it doesn't sell. Then they often buy it. However if they ask picky  questions or want cheaper shipping i block them.

It's been 5 offers for several years now.

I did this and for some reason they can still message me.  I don't know why. This one woman won't leave me alone, she's nuts!
