I had been fine-tuning the draft of a listing and almost every time I went back into it something has been changed. Like the price. Like an item spec. Now it's happening to the listing itself.
I finally listed the item and just had to revise it as I noticed one of the specs was not what I had originally selected. After that revision, I noticed that eBay had added a Make an Offer button which I specifically did not have in the listing when it went up. It's like if you go into the listing to revise one item, or you edit the draft of a listing, you have to check all the other items as they may have been automatically changed by eBay.
I noticed some posts about eBay adding Make an Offer buttons. Is that happening routinely to others? Have you found that drafts of listings have to be scrutinized to make sure nothing was changed without your intention?

I ship First Class and Priority Mail free shipping. I have not noticed eBay changing the shipping in drafts or listings, but have noticed them making Priority Mail the default on the print label page. eBay has admitted to doing this. Just have to double check each label before printing.
As for "Best Offers", you can use eBay's mania for "Best Offers" to your advantage, whether you list with auction or BIN. In the Selling Details section of the listing form click on the Best Offer click box. Just below that you will see two click boxes marked "Automatically accept offers of at least" and "Automatically decline offers lower than". Click both these boxes and enter your lowest acceptable price for each. If a buyer makes a lowball offer, it gets automatically rejected and you will never get a notice or email. If the buyer makes an offer equal or higher than your lowest price, it will get accepted and the item will close the same way as if the buyer did a BIN. And you don't have to be bothered with all the back-and-forth offers and eBay can't sneak in a BO without your knowledge. You might even get lucky as has happened to me now and then and the BO will be above your lowest price. I list auctions only but it works fine for me. It still can't stop nagging emails from problematic buyers, but that's what your BBL is for.

I am having a similar issue and suspect it to be a flaw in Autofill Prcing due to dual weilding the Desktop version ("Seller Hub" via Chrome browser) and the mobile App (6.117.0.4263 via iOS 16.6).
