eBay app no way to input local pickup code or scan QR.

Local pickup can't be completed as the app is not fully functional, even though all official instructions state to input the 6 digit code, or scan the QR.

Not fit for purpose, frustrating to say the least. 

Funds not available, yet the seller has been debited and the ebay commission applied.

Is there a voucher system, or some other sort of compensation available to the seller in this situation?

Have you tried manually entering it in the app ? Maybe ust a glitch, try again later.

Uncheck require immediate payment and chose receive payment upon pickup. I do not do local pickup very often, but this is the best way. This way you get cash, the buyer gets to review the item and everyone is happy.
