eBay Watch Authentication

I’m reaching out to see how many of you have had a negative experience with eBay’s watch authentication process.  Buyers or sellers share your experiences.

Personally I was told the watch I sold was damaged. When I ask how to file a complaint against the authenticator for the damage I was told by eBay’s customer service that I had to prove without a doubt they damaged the watch. By the way my photos of the watch don’t count as evidence, the only photos admissible to eBay are their contracted authenticator. So basically corporately sponsored theft by eBay and their authenticator, who by the way is Stoll & Co. in case you were considering sending them a watch for service, their pretty big in the watch service industry, but have a significant number of complaints questioning their business ethics. Just remember on eBay it’s not only “buyer beware” it’s seller beware

eBay Watch Authentication

I had a watch damaged and obliterated by authenticator.  no response or help from customer service, legal action initiated.  authenticator fraudulently blamed me for the damage.  I am looking for similar precedents, as part of the pending legal action.
