eBay Vault - Incorrect Title and Missing Info for Sports Cards

I tried using eBay Vault, honestly against my better judgement. Bought card on eBay, shipped straight to vault. It's been ingested/listed by ebay into my Vault. However whoever wrote the title, left out the YEAR and other important descriptions. Leaving out the year on a sports card, especially for a "Vault" service, is laughably bad. However it's not funny as it's my card, and an expensive one at that.

Tried to get ahold of support through numerous channels, no response. Wondering if anyone is having issues with the Vault? Really disappointed, and mad at myself for trusting that eBay would actually handle this service professionally.

Re: eBay Vault - Incorrect Title and Missing Info for Sports Cards

I know this is an old thread but just thought I'd update it with what info I have. I just submitted 13 cards to the eBay vault directly from my collection. Several of my listings had errors/typos or did not contain "rookie" in the title which has resulted in fewer listing views and watchers and obviously fewer sales.

I called and asked to speak with the eBay Authenticity department and they were able to manually change my listing titles. The changes to the titles take 24-72 hours and they told me they are currently working to allow for the seller to make some changes manually without having to contact the department.

I know it is a pain but it is at least a workaround for now if you have some pricey cards in the vault that aren't being seen because of an error.

Re: eBay Vault - Incorrect Title and Missing Info for Sports Cards

Sent some of my cards in as well.

Just to share a few of my experiences so far. The photos were actually off-center and the person taking the photos didn't bother to remove the protective sleeve from the card slab, so there's a very noticeable glare.

The fixed title changes are also very restrictive and severely limit visibility as a consequence. The incentives to send cards to the vault are nice, but the user experience currently is not great...
