i think eBay is getting ridiculous to sell in this place. First you need to maintain your seller performance. now seller even need to maintain a shipping performance. please if I am a shipping company you think I need to sell on eBay. you be buying stamps from me. what next? a meet your buyer and say hi performance? Being a seller in eBay is getting harder and harder. hope I still can survive.

Shipping performance is part of seller performance. It may seem that this is counterintuitive, but there are people who aren't even aware that they chose a handling time, must less know that they are supposed to adhere to that time. They may ship when the spirit moves them, and that may not happen in a timely fashion.
If you find it hard to adhere to your handling time, you can change it to something that accommodates your needs and schedule better.
Some say that Ebay is too involved, but bad performance reflects poorly on ebay and affects buyer's perception of not just that seller, but Ebay, and all sellers, too.

Regarding seller performance in general, the same principles applies. Not everyone wants to put proper effort into creating accurate and thorough listings, and that can disappoint buyers who want the item they bought in the condition specified (no surprises).
But you see a lot of descriptions that are far from adequate, or accurate, see pictures is not a description.
So this, and other things, are listed as standards for a seller to follow, and Ebay monitors these things to keep overall performance high.

eBay’s recent mantra is all about the buyer’s experience. One of the ways to improve that is to weed out those sellers who are performing badly.
Thing is, if you do it right and professionally selling here is not hard at all.
I do not speak for eBay. I can only reflect as a long time business owner.
The purpose of constantly, gradually, tightening the screws is to persuade the lower performing sellers to straighten up their act. Dropping a TRS status, increasing the FVF fee percentage, restricting their accounts and other moves are intended to goad them into improving their performance or, let’s be fair, make the really bad ones go away. That is actually to all of our advantage.
While I am aware the analogy is a bit strained, I fired my receptionist for being rude to a customer, I fired my own brother for showing up for work drunk. As a business owner I must be concerned with the reputation of my business.
eBay is no different. Although eBay is only a marketplace, I bet if you asked a buyer “where did you get that” they are more likely to say “I bought it on eBay”, rather than “I bought from an independent seller through eBay”.
To use an old military expressions: Shape up or ship out.

Don't worry about it; if you have been doing things correctly and successfully, just keep doing those things and try not to worry about anything.
Do keep an eye on your Seller Dashboard to be aware of any problems that should arise, and take prompt action on any cases.
