I might actually go in person to see if anyone calls out the item not as described process for what it is.

That will never happen. Any questions that get answered are predetermined and staged. I really never understood the point of attending something like this. There is really no knowledge to be gained from it that you can't get already  on the website in my opinion.

We went to one Open in Vegas.......well worth the trip....  And you can learn from Ebay people, but also from the ebay sellers who attend and swap ideas, stories, even sources.........  The ebay people were much more willing to "talk" than they seem to be on line.  The year we went, ebay had just "destroyed stores"........planned alot of stuff and therefore deleted alot of the options in advance of the new stuff...........but then never did add anything.....so I went loaded for bear and got hold of the "stores manager", whatever the title was.  She told me that the stores team had quit and they weren't going to add anything new......and just shrugged her shoulders and sighed.  That told me quite plainly that Stores were far down on the list of importance to Ebay......

Then there was the laughable question about the events calendar that was still showing the previous year.  The answer to that was..............wait for it...........the person who was in charge of the calendar was gone and no one knew how to change it.

I tried the online open last year, but never worked well on my computer...........but I didn't try the breakout sessions.............

Fantastic, someone that knows eBay.  I attended one of these dog and pony shows in 2015 in San Jose, was visiting friends, and it really was a joke.  If you ask any real questions you will get an answer like we'll let the team know about this and get back to you.  By the way the team never gets back.  I am a high volume Seller and in 2007 to 2011 a top 1% Seller.  This platform is stock market driven at this point.  No one in management wants to hear anything like how about let the platform grow organically.  When the part number and model number of a part will no longer be enough to search a part on eBay, and it is not, selling will die and is doing just that.  I really feel eBay does not want large Sellers because every program they dream up is killer to  making profit and is running off that type of Seller.  As I have stated on this board several times we are a $2.4 mil business and now only do 12% of that on eBay.  When I started saying the amount on eBay two years or so ago we were at 30% on eBay.  Takes time to wind it down.
