The shipping address shows exactly as follows:
I8432 NE Sandy Blvd
PPS CNPPUZBB
Portland OR 97230
It's same as Paypal - the eBay shipping to name shows on the address as something else. The payment from shows as something else and on the Paypal payment the name on eBay shows as something else.
Which is weird, I know this is a freight forwarder. This persons account shows registered in 2017, both feedbacks in the past month are from the same seller, some watch company. My item is a camera system worth $500+
I talked to eBay to ask if they had any issues on account, they said no and that I will be covered under seller protection to freight forwarders.
Any thoughts here on the name differences? I would post the name but I suspect may get removed.

Without more specifics your question can not be answered. What is your question?

The buyer loses any money back guarantee protection they had if they use a freight forwarder. So, the anomalies with addresses is almost irrelevant.

Google the address. Yours comes up as empty box scam. Ive dealt with many ff and most have been fine but every once in a while they claim non receipt on delivered. You just have to do some investigative work. There are many selective scammers too. If its already gone and theyre feedback is ok, then you can just wait and see, then confront with that.

Shipped probably 100 items through forwarders over the years, never had an issue, not one. But then again im not selling iphones or cameras. Your covered by the tracking, they could file a snad claim but not sure they can.. never dealt with that particular scenario.

at the very least i would have item fully insured and signature return receipt required to prove in addition to tracking number that freight forwarders received item. i usually do this myself on anything over $40 value. which leaves $10 to cover shipping on any usps claims i have to do

I know that some get really nervous when they suspect they are shipping to a freight forwarder, but really there is no reason. As a seller you are responsible for the item to the address on the payment notification, period.
Once that forwarder actually forwards the item to them client, the MBG is voided for the buyer. The seller is not responsible for shipping damage or anything else.
I've shipped to freight forwarders for years without issue.

Thanks, I have not shipped yet.
The person has one feedback from last month. Their account is from 2017.
The address format is clearly a freight forwarding company.
I guess the concern I had is the payment name that shows on who paid is like Mark XXXX the shipping address on top of the Freight Forwarded information shows a different type of single name.
Now when I login to Paypal it shows payment from Bertey XXXX.
The XXX represents a different last name. The email is a name with like 10 numeric digits @163.com
That email domain is clearly a Chinese site. So the question was basically for sellers who receive such sort of payments do you see that discrepancy in names, etc.
eBay tells me to ship it that I would be covered.

Patty PayPal can pay for:
Ely eBay shipping to:
Freddy Forwarder.
They don't have to be the same name, nor the same, one person.

I totally understand your hesitating. It's not a $50 item. It's a $500+ item.
I get suspicious that it could be a hijacked account - very little activity and lots of conflicting information.
I know you said you called eBay, but have you called PayPal? They may see something different than eBay.

Buyers are allowed to ship to whatever address they want. At the time of payment is when they determine that address. The address you see in Ebay BEFORE payment isn't always going to be the shipping address and there is nothing wrong with that.
For example sometimes I purchase something and have it shipped directly to a family member. Of course before my payment is made my address would show on the purchase. But at the time of payment I enter a different address for the shipment. Nothing wrong with that.
It is highly likely there isn't anything wrong with this transaction. But if you are determined to talk yourself into not completing the transaction, you have the right to do that. However I would not recommend cancelling the transaction because there is something wrong with the buyer's address, as there isn't.

Did you not google or see my message? If you change the I in the address to what it should be which is a 1 meaning 18432 NE Sandy Blvd not I8432 NE Sandy Blvd. There are several scam postings. Ive sent to many ff and most are find but I feel like there may be selective scamming as Ive definately had some issues. They may not even be intentional as they may have several people working there or someone abrad claims they didnt order something but noone on this post seems to notice that the 1 in the address is substituted with an I and when you correct it multiple posts come up about chargebacks, etc.
Sure ebay may cover you or it may be fine but it is shady.

There are actually screenshots of cases with that address and pps numbers, claims of not receiving $187 sneakers.
Scroll down on the first one you see the address and name

Yup I noticed the 1 was substituted for an I as well
I contacted another seller who left this buyer feedback for a transaction last month.
He told me the buyer paid, he shipped, and no problems as of yet.
But yes the I for a 1 is something I caught as well
