eBay Charging Arbitrary Listing Fees on Existing Revised an Listing as Similar

I am so tired of eBay constantly charging arbitrary Listing Fees over and over again..  I can't even revise listings without being charged Bold Listing Fees, which I have never used... Insertion Fees if which I clearly still have free Insertions, and other fees not chosen by me. Not backing me with Buyers who are clearly Scammers... Telling me I cancelled items when I did not after Buyer agreeing to work it out from sending incorrect item, then refusing to send shipping details to return incorrect item so I can ship him correct item. Somehow buyer cancelled transaction and eBay refunded buyer, insisting I cancelled the transaction when I had nothing to do with it, but still insisting I CANCELLED THE TRANSACTION, when I did not, the buyer did. Went behind my back, and didn't even enter that reason was for incorrect item, but for reason of wrong address. Buyer still has incorrect item, has never planned on returning, but eBay doesn't care. Now buyer has blocked me and I can no longer even get ahold of them. I have closed my store... eBay may be next, even after 23 years of membership and 100% Feedback. eBay needs to mend it's ways or become just another obsolete selling platform the way they are conducting business. I am soooo upset.. on SS and Caregiver for my 88 yr old Mom, also on SS. eBay is just soooo WRONG!!!

Check your listings, if you are being charged for Bold you must have chosen it. If not contact eBay.

If you are listing using Sell Similar then you need to check that any extra's are removed before you submit.

If a buyer opens INAD you need to accept it and send label for the return of item and then refund. If you do not follow this procedure eBay will refund without requiring buyer to return.

If things are slipping past you, messages / returns / claims etc - then you need to make a habit of checking in every day so you do not miss deadlines etc.

This is an ongoing issue, it`s been for at least six months. Many posts about it, experienced it myself. Topics were moved from Selling to IT section. ebay fixes it for a few days, then it is back. Same what you (and many other sellers) have - when clicking on Revise and even not doing anything, ebay wants to charge Listing fee (despite plenty free listings are available). I keep repeating that ebay employees have a job security -just keep breaking the same and different things and pretend like you are working.

Ongoing issue for years and years on difference parts of the listing template when revising or selling similar.

We all need to very slowly take the time to read and look at every checkbox.  I have lost hundreds of dollars over the past ten years due to not paying attention when the ebay software changes things on the template literally in front of our eyes.

This used to happen with auction durations.  That doesn't apply to me anymore but the duration would change from 7 days which was free to 3 days, which costs $1.  Too tired to list other examples.
