customer unable to find one of my listed items

A customer knows that i have a certain item listed. It does show up when I look for it. But when I search for it by using the exact same words I can't find that item. WHY?

Which item and how are you searching?

Not finding an item when searching might be an indication of the item not being listed in the correct category for that search. Or it might be the result of using the wrong sort order: Price plus shipping lowest first often shows filtered results. Or it might indicate a problem with shipping to the location you are using (or the customer is using) to calculate shipping estimates.

Much more goes into search than the words you type in the box.

Maybe AI knows you already saw it.

Have you tried giving the buyer the item number so they could look it up by that?

There are several known reasons why a particular search might not find a particular item, but we really need to know the item number and the search terms being used so we can re-create the problem.
