Hi, I have been selling for years and done well. This last 6 months have been ill and have not listed but still ran the 126 items that were seaonaly suitable. I have had no sales. maybe 2. It it because I do not list new that things get lost in ebay cyberspace and people dont see it. I have never ever seen the likes..

My sells dropped a few months ago from about 10 a month to maybe 1 a month now. Many reasons why it can happen. None of them I like. Lol

The more you list, the more you sell.  I find that when I am listing things on a regular basis, my sales are steady, but when I stop listing for a while, my sales drop.  It makes sense when you think about it: new items draw new potential customers, and even if they don't buy the thing they initially looked at, they may look through your listings and find something else that they like.  I find that when I put up a bunch of new listings, I will often get a burst of sales of my older things simply because people who hadn't otherwise looked for those particular items may have clicked in via one of my new listings and then found something else they wanted to buy.

Kill the all caps. I've recently heard it messes with search, but I can't confirm that. Regardless, kill the all caps.

You need to list more. You have a store, so you have a minimum of 250 FP listings, but you only have 120 listed. List the other 130 items.

Your stuff qualifies for the store included auctions. While auctions aren't the best for clothing, they still bring eyes to your store. I'd list all your new items at 5 day auction at the minimum price you'll accept, then anything that doesn't sell should be converted to FP. You may even consider pricing a few bucks more and putting on Best Offer.

Otherwise, everything looks fairly good in your store (except the all caps in titles).

I second what @pantlandia said.  

Also, eBay seems to like movement.   Whether its adding new listings, updating/revising old listings, running sales, etc.  And the more items you have listed overall, the more chance you have of buyers seeing all of your items.

No, just 3 and 1 day have the premium.

If you just kept listing the same items for six months  (thst holiday poinsetta shirt is seasonably suitable??) - your sales will likely decrease with every round of relists. 

My sales run 60% new listings and 40% relists, but I usually wait 3-8 weeks before relisting an item unless I have free promos to use up.

I am not trying to sound harsh, but clothing is one of the most difficult categories to sell in.  Your stuff has to be either a) on trend or b) really cheap to do well.  I sold clothes (mainly Anthropologie and Free People) for a while, and started all my listings at .99, and only some of the items sold for more than I paid for them (thrift prices).  The effort was just not worth it.

That doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm listing new items every day, I've run sales, tweaked my listings and still my sales dropped over 50% below July's sales.

Kids clothes are a bit harder than adult clothes to sell overall.  I looked through a few of your listings (not all), but most seem to be summer items still.  Your photos, prices, etc look real good 🙂  

But if you have fall/winter items (long pants, long sleeve shirts/onesies, sweaters, tights, leggings, etc), the best time to start getting those listed for kids is end of July/beginning of August at the latest.  So if you have those items, you might want to try listing those when you are adding new listings.

In my experience, moms outfitting kids usually look ahead more, and are buying the next size outfits/clothing for kids a BEFORE the actual season hits or the weather changes.   Unlike adults, who tend to buy when the weather starts to change.

Thanks for the imput on my listings. I appreciate it :). Yes, I am behind in listing my fall/winter stuff.

I've been spending a lot of time cleaning out 35 years of accumulation from my attic. I found a small treasure trove of 80's toys and games. I'm glad I'm a saver!
