At the very bottom of all my ebay descriptions is a long line of HTML codes that appeared a few months ago. I tried to delete & even replace it with ebay bulk editor but nothing will delete nor can it be replaced. I tried to post the codes here but ebay says it cannot be included in this message. Maybe someone can look at my descriptions and see for themselves. It's at the very bottom of all descriptions. Thanks

PROBLEM SOLVED: Thanks to all that weighed in. I solved this problem by going to just one of my items pages being that are my descriptions are identical. I used the bulk editor and the HTML Source Mode. By just highlighting & coping the html code directly from a description page WILL NOT WORK. You must highlight the problem code on ANY description page, right click it and in dropdown choose "view source mode". The html that you highlighted on the description page will also be highlighted at the very top of the "view source mode" page. Right click it only once and when it's on your clipboard it is good for every item on your site.You do not have to click on it any more. The new upgraded bulk editor on ebay is outstanding & doesn't make all the mistakes that the old one did. It will now do hundreds of edits at once without any problems. I now do 700 at one time. In the bulk editor, I clicked "do all 700 at once" & once on the bulk editor page, choose "item description" and on next page click the "find & replace" option & select "find what". IMPORTANT-when dealing with removing or editing HTML codes, you must also check the square box that says "Match with HTML Source". Then in the "replace with what" box, put nothing, leave it blank. All the problem html codes showing on my description pages were smoothly removed. Again, thanks to all those who weighed in to help.

That jibberish is due to a HTML error in your listing.
The error is on the link...
"Click her to see all of our signs"

You have a lot of extraneous HTML in your listings that can/should be stripped out. The specific issue you're posting about is because two brackets got changed (prob through a copy/paste job) from < > to the HTML characters for those symbols so it's appearing as text instead of translating the code.
You can delete the below from your descriptions to fix the immediate problem, but you have so much extra HTML I'd strip out more than just this line.
<="" font="" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"></font="">

💡
Post a screenshot/snippet of what you're seeing.

Looks like you didn't close one of your tags in your HTML. Go into the HTML view and fix it there.
ETA: Many fonts!

Thanks for the replies. If I cannot get rid of this stuff by using ebay bulk listing, then I guess I have a real problem. With at least 500 of my 700 items having this problem, I won't live long enough to do them individually. I don't think I would even attempt it.

Download a copy of your CSV file, bring it into whatever spreadsheet software you're using, Open Office, Libre Office, MS Office, Excel whatever.
Do a search and replace. Search this: <font=""><="" font="" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"></font=""><font=""><b="" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><font=""><="" font="" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"></font=""></b=""></font="">
Replace with nothing.
Save the file, upload it. Make sure keep a backup of the original in case things go awry.

There is a way to bulk edit the descriptions
I 'glanced' at your listings, and they look similar so it should be pretty easy
(I recommend try only a few at a time until you know your 'edits' are correct.)
There is a search and replace function on the bulk editor for item description.
find the text in error, and replace it with either proper formatting or nothing (black)
That should effectively delete it.....

It won’t be that bad. If it took one minute to do each one you should be able to get them all done in less than one day with plenty of time for food and bathroom breaks.

Monica-sells, are you sure that this can be done with the bulk editor. I ask because I have already tried that 4 times. I have been on ebay 21 years and I know the bulk editor inside and out. I used the exact same method as you described, entering the html code and then leaving the "replace with" blank. Nothing happened either time. I guess that because it's an html code, the editor does not want to except it. I wonder if it will work if I highlight and copy it from the source instead of from the description itself. What's you thoughts about that? Thanks

I have changed and updated html code using the bulk editor many times. Not just deleting code but actually changing it. Some times as many as 200 listings at a time.
The trick is to look carefully - under the "replace with" block is a small check box marked
"Match in HTML source code"
Make sure you check that and it works just fine.
