changes to the number of free listings per month?

only been selling about a year - i could swear i used to be able to list 100 items for free, now its 50. is it my imagination?

It's been 50 free for non-stores since 2011.

Over the years eBay's policies on free insertions have varied.  Early on, there were none.  For a while there was a weird system in which you got free insertions if the starting bid was 99 cents and you got x free insertions in every 30-day period but the 30 days started when you used the first free insertion not based on the calendar month. Impossible to follow.
