To the best of my knowledge, you can't.
Why would you need/want to see your customer's cart?

Only your customer can see their cart. Would you like someone to look in your cart?

You cannot see the customer's cart.

If anyone looked at my cart I’d die of embarrassment.

Only the customer can see what's in the customers cart. I believe it has something to do with privacy. If sellers could see what's in my cart here on Ebay or any internet shopping site, I wouldn't shop there.

Because He is probably having the same ridiculous conversation with his buyer...
Buyer says...Send me a combined total for my cart.
Seller reply...click on the request total.
Buyer reply...I don't see it.
Seller reply...well I cannot see your cart either soooo....
Now everybody knows...Again!

No, you can't see the customer's cart.
But, I think I know where the question is coming from.
People put items in their cart, and then want to know what the total will be, including shipping, before buying/paying.
I've had this happen several times - they fill their cart, and then ask for an invoice to pay.
I've never been able to find a way to do this.
I always tell them to go ahead and buy, and then I will invoice for shipping.
I believe I've actually lost a few sales due to this, because they think I'm being unhelpful, or maybe being evasive about combined shipping charges. (And I do have combined shipping in my settings.)
Maybe that's what the original poster is trying to figure out.

Items left unattended and neglected will disappear from the cart in 24 hours.
Paid items will appear on your Items Awaiting Shipment screen.
If the buyer Requests an Invoice, you can see the items in their cart. There is no way to see the cart without the request.

You don't see your customer's cart ... until they check out.
Then it becomes an order.
When i'm at the supermarket I like to look in other people's cart.
They always have all the "good stuff" that I can't afford.

I did not know that.

When I was in a dollar store, a lady grabbed a pound cake from the basket I was carrying and examined it. She gleefully exclaimed, "Pound cake! Are there more available?" So I explained where to find them and she then placed the pound cake back into my basket.
Was it okay for her to grab the item out of my basket? Am I just making a mountain out of a molehill?
The issue with all stores, including dollar stores, is the ever shrinking size of the contents of the package as time elapses. This Pound Cake only weighed 6 or 8 ounces. Is that okay under the truth in labeling laws?

I think it was @sin-n-dex that had a similar funny story about a "pound" coin. 😃

Egypt Denominated 1 Pound silver coin - buyer was mad it didn't weigh one pound. (One pound of silver for $18, yeah right). He sent the coin back for a refund. I really believed I was being scammed, but seems not.
