Hi
I have a customer who had an item and opened a returns request I sent them a replacement which there are happy with but ebay are still trying to get me to pay and print a returns label for the customer. They do not wish to return anything now so I don't want to print the label and pay for it? I also can not cancel the request and ebay notes that it will force me to print and pay for a label if I do not do it before a certain date? Has anyone else had this> How do I cancel it?
Thanks

Normally you could just call customer service and they would cancel it based on the messages from your buyer. Actually they would first escalate it and then close it. The only option left is to try contacting them via email but I have no idea how responsive they would be.
I have never had to pay and print a returns label up front for my buyer, the buyer does that himself.
If you want to completely avoid getting a defect you could send the label as instructed, the buyer doesn't use it, and the case will time out in your favor. Not sure how you would process a postage refund in this case, but worth a shot.

If I authorize an ebay label be provided to my buyer and the buyer doesn't use it, then it is not charged to my account if not used. That's not the case if a seller buys one on their own to send to the buyer.
