cancel listing

I have 2 watchers on an item. I went to get the item and it is not there. Cannot find it anywhere, it is a 2' sculpture. I think my cat swatted it in the trash can. Is there a way to cancel this listing?

Re: cancel listing

So long as they are only watchers and have not purchased, just go to your item and delete.

Find the listing in you list of Active Listing, tick the box on the left, look at the top of the list for the Action dropdown, click on that, the first line should be "end listing"

If you only have watchers, not actual bidders then there are no negative repercussions.

Re: cancel listing

Yes, ebay doesn't make it easy to find. But usually, you press the 3 little dots on the side, and select end listing, and there will be a list of inconsequential reasons. Just pick one. And it you find it intact within 90s days, you can relist it again, if you decide to sell it.

Thanks, I found it in the site map area.

Re: cancel listing

If you are sure the item is gone for good, you might want to make sure you go to Listings/Unsold and delete the item there so you don't accidentally relist it in the future. Accidentally relisting an item you don't have can lead to a major headache later.

eBay does make it easy! If you go to the main Help Page and search "end listing" the instructions to end via the Seller Hub or My eBay are given. You can also just click on the End Listing box on that page which will display your listings and you just have to select the one you want to end.
