I sold a few items and combined shipping for a buyer. He was having trouble paying, so I was going to look up his email on the order and invoice him through paypal and now ebay has blocked us from seeing their email??? BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING

Per eBay "blue" on previous questions about this,................ anything sent to the buyer on the scrambled "email" displayed will go to the buyer just as it did before the "scramble".

Unfortuantely, invoicing through PayPal is a loophole that some sellers have exploited to circumvent eBay fees.

Hiding the buyer's email also protects the buyer from "big brother" sellers who harvest their email addresses and spam them with unsolicited emails, catalogs and adverts for websites.

I have a seller who harvested my email from eBay in 2008 who STILL sends me weekly unsolicited emails advertising his website.
