buyer cancel payment after item shipped

I have been hearing many complaints on paypal forum- buyer made payment,seller shipped item ,then buyer cancelled payment?

how is that possible?

Besides the seller ignore Paypal notice that it has not cleared,how is it possible to cancel a payment made??

They usually buy a high priced item using an echeck to pay. When they use an echeck, the money in Pay Pal shows pending. A seller sees that they made a sale and not checking their Pay Pal account to make sure the payment cleared and it's ok to ship, they go ahead and ship the product. A day or so later, when the echeck doesn't clear is where the problem is, but by this time the package is on it's way to the crook.

Always log into your Pay Pal account and make sure the payment has been completed before shipping.
