Hi all! I have a question that I thought I had figured out myself. I have an item in auction currently that has been bid on by an international buyer. While that typically wouldn't bother me, I have changed all my settings to not ship internationally and block bids from buyers with international addresses. I will open up to international buyers in the future, but for right now I would like to stay domestic. What do I do if the international bidder wins the auction? Like I said, all of my settings through Ebay are done so I shouldn't have international bidders. I don't have an international shipping option set up (obviously). Is there anything more I can do to stop international bids at this point and time?

The block you are talking about in your site preferences under Buyer Requirements does NOT block all international buyers. It blocks international buyers that do not have a ship to address to a place you ship to. You can't tell what their ship to address is by looking at their accounts. All buyers can have multiple ship to addresses set up in their accounts.
So the international buyer that is bidding must have a US ship to address set up on their account. So it should all work out just fine.

I guess it was silly of me to assume when their profile says that they are based out of another country. Thank you for your response, I really appreciate it!
No, not silly at all. But it is important to know the difference between a primary account address and a ship to address. And it is important to read your site preferences VERY closely. This one is an excellent example. You thought that block would block all international buyers, but that is NOT what the block says. You've got to pay attention to the details. And the woods are full of them around here.
But hey, you got the threads to come to whenever you have an issue. We are always happy to help if we can.
