I have 52 bids ad 6 bidders, all with zero feedback! Th thing is the bids ar over a thousand dollars for something that may be worth 200.00 at best. Anyone know what's happening?

Bid shielding has almost disappeared since the introduction of the 12-hour rules over a decade ago. But we still sometimes see a situation where 2 bidders will place bids just within that final hour and then retract one of them during the final seconds of the auction.

Have 5 people bidding really high and ebay says they have no issues with their accounts. I dont ow how they got past my requirements of at least 4 feedbacks either.

all the bids are too high, well 5 of them and one is for about 10.00

You can't restrict bidders on the basis of their FB numbers.
You can however cancel any of those bidders that make you nervous without needing to explain to anyone.
(There are reasons allowed, but just pick one. No one cares.)
You can cancel BIDS but you cannot cancel BUYS.
Act before you are trapped.

I noticed in my origin description I had a typo leaving it unclear about the fact that the sets are incomplete. I added that they were incomplete to the listing and ran your scenario by the ebay rep. Her answer was that what I did was ok in regard to how I corrected my mistake. I thought the exact same thing, they pluck a few mini figures out and try to return the legos. She said that when I package my items make sure I take a video of everything going into the box. Thats thousands of Lego pieces! She said that bay will side with me on an item not as described case because the other bidders have zero feedback. At the end of the day, they have to shell out a thousand dollars and If I video what went into the box and they ask for a return minus what their sticky fingers took if they didn't video themselves opening the package, they are taking a chance of loosing over a thousand dollars a I could win that case. What scares me is chargebacks. Thats where they could get their money back.

eBay will not look at your video if there is an issue. The customer service rep gave you bad advice.

A pointless suggestion to record a video that eBay will not view was not the only wildly wrong recommendation...

The bidder's feedback count vs. your own is not taken into account.
It seems like when the CS people are not reading off scripts, they're simply winging it.

Sorry but that eBay rep told you wrong. eBay never looks at videos and means nothing and they will NOT side with you on a INAD case. Feedback has nothing to do with who they side with on a INAD case. They will side with the buyer.
By the way the real eBay reps are on facebook. The phone reps are just there to answer the phones and get you off the phone as fast as possible.

why the heck can reps tell us thing over the phone that are just to true?

They don't work for eBay.
The phone reps (as opposed to the social media Chats) work for a subcontractor in Utah.
They have a script , a little training, and a quota.
She wants to get you off the phone, take a pee break, and meet that quota.
Call centres are notoriously horrible places to work.
Check out the Not Always Right website sometime.
The Chats are covered by actual employees with decent training, some authority, and will give you a transcript so you can see if what you heard is what you were actually told.

This is how ebay is being DESTROYED. It is so infuriating how bad this site has gotten, that this scenario you're describing is all over YouTube videos. They're 1 of 3 things. The one I'm banking on is the world of shill bidders who are trying to drive up sold prices so they can try to sell their own (showing an inflated price as a comparable sale.) These can be youtubers and tiktokers who put out videos claiming a coin is worth $10,000. They get thousands of hits. Then they bid up the matching coins but never pay. Then they list theirs for half (still highly inflated) and bank on one of the ignorant tiktok video watchers to think they're getting a deal on a hot item "worth thousands." I'm telling you... the younger generation has figured out how to scam their viewers so bad it's disgusting.
Other scenarios: they're just trolling ebay because ebay is letting them get away with it. With all the high sold comps, you go to sell your Legos thinking you're going to make a fortune. But no bids, right? But you thought others sold for so much money. Hmm... maybe you should pay attention to that huge ad ebay shoves in your face when you go to relist and they ask you if you want to PAY MORE to raise your item's visibility. That's right- ebay is turning into a CASH COW of people believing they'll make $1000 on their worthless item, so why not throw in that fee to rank higher? Ebay will make the money, you'll make nothing, and there's nothing you can do about it.
Lastly, they are artificially increasing your sale price so no one else wants to bid, and instead, ebay will promote a lower priced item to the buyers when they see yours. After all... they paid money to ebay to be ranked higher, and ebay knows exactly what they're doing.
The entire site has turned into a SESSPOOL.

They don't NEED bid shielding anymore. The world of scams actually requires brains now, and the scammers have figured out how to outsmart even the saviest scammer-hunters. Ebay is playing right along with it because they're banking as much as possible to recoup their massive losses. The site has turned into a den of thieves, and ebay will piggyback the culprits with absolutely no intentions of cleaning up the site. They'll allow it as long as they cash in. The scams are far too intricate for most laypeople to figure out, especially if they're desperate and need to pay their electric bill.

He's not a new seller. And he should not let the auction run its course. He should 86 the zero-feedback bidders. He's basically wasting his time on the entire auction at this point.

"You have satisfactorily responded to this post and are a valued eBay commenter and we will get back to you in 24hrs".😑

This horrific advice is why I never use the phone reps. This is so wrong it's almost criminal. If you followed this advice and got a SNAD return with parts missing, you'd have a set worth even less money than when you started (or got a box of rocks back and were out the item with no money to show for it.
Video means nothing. There is no way for eBay to know if you videoed, then opened back up and stripped parts out of it, so they are going to side with the buyer.
Feedback numbers mean nothing - everyone started from zero feedback at some point. eBay is not going to potentially lose a new user by saying "well, you've not been here as long, so of course you are lying".
This is why I tell people to use the chats - either via eBay or Facebook. You've got a written record of what the eBay reps or contractors told you. You might not get any relief, but you've got a better chance than with just what the phone reps told you.
