A buyer purchased an item, the buyer advised that he was going to pay for the item when he got his money came in. He did not pay within 30days and ebay automatically cancelled the order. I had agreed to allow him to wait to pay (maybe Covid-19 related). I don't think he should get a negative feedback in that he was upfront with me all along.
Is there a way to have ebay remove negative feedback for him. Or is negative feedback for non payment final?
Thank you

You don't have to leave feedback at all. Relist and relax... 😊

Do you mean a strike for non-payment instead of feedback, because ebay doesn't leave feedback but buyers and sellers do?

ebay has started a new program/said they would start in early April
it has to do with deadbeat bidders who do not pay.
the old way was you realized they did not pay and then you could file a UPI and then have to wait a few days to close it out.
now when you have a no or slow payer it can be closed out as soon as you file.
I think you can do it in 5 days from what I have heard..the file and wait thing is now over
