authenticity program having glitch never solve for months and getting worse?

hi, a canadian seller here.

a few months ago i ecountered a glitch for listing that are suppose to qualify for the authenticity program

adult shoes, priced over $100 and brands. the listings were indeed under the authenticity program with the patch thing shown.

but a few months back that started to glitch, listing that were under the coverage turn not with it, not only if you make the listing brand new from scratch, not even through "sell similar" or "relist".

that sort of took care of the problem.

but yesterday night i tried to list a few listing and the men ones only would have the program apply if i put the price to over $150 either cad or usd works the same. but no matter what situation  and pricei put for women they will not have it, and like half of my listing of women shoes turn from having the program to not having it. i know it's not about the over $100 or not thing because there's one at $75 that is still having it. $120 that isn't.

the customer service few months back said they are going to fix it, but it only got worse.

how am i going to get my listing having the authencity protection without forcing to list them at price that i don't need to?

@goldhawkickz13  - eBay can and does change the terms for authentication all the time without notice.

Here in the US it started out at $200, then dropped to $150, then $100, then back to $150, then back to $100 and now they've gotten rid of the minimum price all together and instead are only authenticating certain models of certain brands.

In Canada, it looks like the current minimum price is $150.

From looking at the Internet Archive, it looks like that page was changed around October 26/27.

Sorry to say, customer service lied - it's not a bug and they can't fix it, it just goes by whatever the policy is at the time you list the shoes.

Re: authenticity program having glitch never solve for months and getting worse?

Ya various rep gave me various $ cut offs from 150cad 150usd to 100usd 100cad

Also from my trail n error n look ar my own listings.

Some dont even make sense  i got women Nike blazers low at 75usd included and women nike high at 80usd not included.

Men adidas forum low at over 150 yes but women adidas forum low at nomatter what price point no

Adidas tubular i mean nobody looking for tubular anymore in 2022, at $130usd a yes.

The criteria just dont even make sense.

And most of the time is the women version of the model that get excluded.
