auction question

can someone let me know what the best way is in selling on a auction.  for example starting bid is .99  and no one bids on it, then some buyer  comes along and decides they want to purchase item paying only for shipping?  this is now a sold item.??

auction question

Someone in a previous post mentioned looking at the SOLD listings but you should also scrutinize the active listings. What are your direct competitors doing-are they listing as auction or BIN? Then look at what their starting bids are. For the Longaberger baskets you have a mixed bag of auction and BIN but most auctions don't start at 99 cents.

Helpful hint: some of the main photos in your listings show the bottom of the product rather than the front of the item.  Best to show the front/top in the main photo so it easier to see-for example on the Longaberger basket you mentioned you had 2 but the main photo doesn't show the type/shape of the baskets.
