adding photos to an existing listing - eBay duplicates existing photos??

I forgot to add a couple of photos to a listing, and have tried to go back and add more. I have 10 existing photos, and i need to add another two. The "revise listing" page will let me add the photos, but when i click the button to submit the revised listing, it fails with an error that there are too many photos, and when i look at the photos, eBay has duplicated the original 10 photos, and then added the new two. The website doesn't like the 22 photos, but i only want 12! 

Any suggestions? Thank you

Delete the ones you don't want.

If that fails, try deleting ALL of your photos and then re-uploading the 12 you want.

I was recently twisted up in trying to add/too many/not working in revising photos, don't know if it was eBay or my machine but deleting all, saving changes, then revising again adding the photos fixed it for me.
