It will cost you extra to list in more than one category..............

Becareful not only will cost extra to list in more than one category. Depending on the category other charges could be incured.

If the item fits in two different categories, yes, you can list them in two, but it might cost you more in fee's.

May I know ,If I don't delete the items in one category and delete them in other categories that are not related to that category, will it affect my account?

I'd estimate it's also important not to list in categories that are not relevant to the item.  Aka: You don't list video games in Women's clothing categories to try gain more visibility.

I could, but you need to learn how to use the help files:

Go to the upper right corner and click on ebay help

in the search box put in your question "add categories"

Click on the most applicable link............and that will take you to a page that tells you everything about adding categories.........how to do it, costs, etc.

I have listed related items in related categories.(For example, I have listed related items in two different categories and in their related categories.) I wanted to know if listing items with such different categories is good for my sales account.

Not sure if I complerely understand the question. Are you asking this: You have items listed in more than one category will there be a problem if you delete the second category from your listing. To the best of my knowledge the answer is no. I had some items listed in more than one category I decided it was not a good economical decision so I deleted the second category no problem. Regarding charges you need to look at charges related to each category they do vary for example final value fees and  gallery plus charges.

Another thing to keep an eye on, make sure all the information in the listing is correct.

The rings you just listed show they are located in Oregon, but the description says it'll be shipped directly from Sri Lanka.
