Hi all,
I have sold a miner S9 for this guy from USA and he has been none stop on trying to not return the item and get the money back at the same time.
It is a brand new S9 and when I sold him I made a mistake on advertising that it is 14TH/s instead of 13.5TH/s. I made sure to let him know straight away and asking him to cancel the sale but he denied and threaten me to sell to him. Afther that he asked for price reduced, asked for extra items, asked for custom fee and many more.
After the item arrived by express post from me, the fastest in Australia come straight to his door, few days passed he asked for a full refund, returned of item which I expressly state no return which was revoke by money back guarantee and my mistake. I was skeptical about this, I check his profile and find out that he was trying to sell my bitmain to other customer but got cancel, I was like ok. I agree to the return send him money for postage fee to return the item. Guess what next?=====> after unsuccessful trying to got both keep the item and get money back from me through ebay, after I send the postage fee he cancel the case and raise it with paypal, now he is stating that it is damaged and broken warrenty? Properly uncommon? mistake
threatening
this guy customer feedback
Want to cancel
sent postage fee
case closed

if he has pictures documenting the damage, then its best to use shipping insurance to protect yourself as a seller. But i would get on the phone with ebay or paypal, i dont think this discussion board is that well monitored... you will just get a lot of advice from other sellers, but you really need to plead your case with ebay, whether .au or .com

Actually, with paypal, all you have to do is agree to the return. Paypal insists the buyer pay the return shipping.
Please ignore the advice to "plead your case" with eBay - they are now out of it because he already closed the eBay case.
Don't argue with him any more, just reply "return for refund". Repeat those 3 words, and do NOT add any others, as many times as needed. He will either return it, and you will then refund, or he won't.
The only potential problem is that he could return something else or an empty box, but that's not very likely.
"retrurn for refund, return for refund, return for refund".......

Agreed, eBay is out of the picture because he closed the eBay case. Agree to a return & refund through PayPal. I really don’t think you could fight this and win so just tell him to return for a refund. Good luck!

I really wish they'd ban these things from the site, whatever they are. We've seen quite a few threads about them recently.

These are obviously a very high scam item you should probably avoid dealing in them in the future.
