Is there a way to change the zip code that appears on the label when you purchase it from ebay? My personal zip code shows but I actually ship it from a different post office when I drop off my packages.
The ship from address might have to be the post office you drop the packages off at to use that zip. Unless you have a PO box there, don't think that is going to work. Pretty sure trying to change the zip to the PO you use, will show incorrect address and may default back your actual address because the zip and your personal address would not match. I have handed packages to mail carrier in a different zip area then was on the packages and have had no problem. You might talk to the postmaster at the branch you use and see what they say.
Nothing to worry about I have done this for years and use multiple post offices. Not sure what would happen if a buyer returned something, whether it would take the zip code from you shipping information or from your profile.
Any of you go to drop off your packages, see a truck, flag it down and give them your packages? I've done that on more than one occasion (pre-COVID, I think it would rather rude now).
