Your request couldn't be processed because of a technical issue. Please try again.

This is clearly an issue as it has been mentioned by many others over the years.  I have tried deleting cookies,

temporary internet files etc, phoned PayPal to check the email and account were linked and asked if there were any restrictions or problems receiving funds.  All were ok.

"Your request couldn't be processed because of a technical issue. Please try again".  This message keeps appearing after trying to list an item, this is my first item sold and it is expensive (listed at £5,000).  The issue arises when requesting a verification code and after trying either text me or call me options, the above message appears.

EBay suggested I contact my phone service provider but when getting codes from PayPal, there are no problems.  I have tried for over a week to list items with no luck.  EBay customer support say everything is fine and don't contact when they say they will.  No direct contact with tech support.  This is a very annoying problem and one which others have had.  Can anyone assist in providing a clear solution to what I need to do or am I at the mercy of EBay who appear totally disinterested?  Thanks very much

You are in the UK......this is the US board........I suggest you ask on the UK board.........

Taking a wild guess, if you were a US seller.......this is my first item sold and it is expensive (listed at £5,000).......we have limits on new sellers...and this would be above those limits.

That said, the UK has 2 types of sellers..........personal/business and you may be butting against some of those rules at that price.

Also, here........if you are a new seller, many here would suggest NOT trying to sell that expensive an item until you have some experience........
