I sent a brand new  ASUS motherboard to a buyer in Seattle, now this guy is telling me I sent an empty box, I have the receipt and I bought it from Amazon.

What can i do? Is he a scammer or what? Please let me know what to do.

It is impossible to know if he is telling the truth. If he has opened an item not as described case, you will have to send him a return shipping label.

Buyers have the upper hand. They can, and do, make false claims. This is why I never list anything I can’t afford to lose. 

As a seller it is so important to fully understand eBay’s Money Back Guarantee. 
Sorry this is your situation. It’s a tough/expensive lesson.

Well, I think I have good news, I called Ebay and told them I think the buyer was a scammer, he made 3 mistakes that proves me he was a scammer 🙂 lol

Ebay representative showed me how to get my money back. Thanks Ebay.

One thing, I recommend to always keep the receipts, also 1 more free advice, you can thank me later, always google the address or name where you are sending the package, my buyer was already reported by other forums from other sellers.

How did you call ebay? The phone number don't work. I sold a 3060 ti and ups is saying package left at ups access point. Ebay refunded the guy and took my gpu

Also you can go to the help support at ebay, and you can find a page where there is a link if you click it, it will ask if you want ebay to call your phone number, you just say yes, but itis hard to find that page, it was hard but I found that page today. 

My Motherboard ASUS cost  $450 , guess what? They used a shipping forwarding company. You need to chat or call on the phone to get the help immediately.

It is insane to lose $400 or $500 to a scammer during these tough times, always request a signature when it comes to shipping expensive electronic items. Don't be cheap on paying $3 for signature required.
