Did you mean:

You must have a valid PayPal Account in good standing to require immediate payment. ?

Hello:

For first time in 20 years i have this message ,when i like add in my items "inmediate paypal payment request" ,Active :

It looks like there's a problem with this listing
- You must have a valid PayPal Account in good standing to require immediate payment.

I can sell and list and relist but now I'm not allowed to request Inmediate paypal payment.

I  very fine with everything on ebay and paypal. My account on paypal is fine and working.I have not any chargeback or hold .

The only different than " I was forced to do " was Cancel a sale than the buyer after of many days not send me the paypal. And the option for start a dispute is not nice for me,really i like not force to any "bad buyer(for me)" to force to pay me if i can see an unusual behavior from the date of sale to the moment of start a dispute or cancel the sale.(sorry my english).

I wrote. I'm out of stock and was cancelled without problems ....but after and " i don't know if has or not relation with it problem"??? , i can request Inmediate payment when i'm listing relisting edting...a item.

i have this message :

You must have a valid PayPal Account in good standing to require immediate payment.

Please....help .

Thanks you in advance.

I can't solve your PayPal issue but I can tell you that you got a serious defect on your account for counseling using the reason out of stock. Start filing the unpaid item disputes!

you do yourself and the other sellers on this site no favors by just simply canceling.

How is Ebay supposed to know that the buyer is a deadbeat if you don't file the case? Also many sellers have their accounts that block anybody with more than 2 unpaid item strikes. If sellers don't file the dispute all you're doing is fobbing your bad buyer off on other unsuspecting sellers

If it is as you say: because I am being punished not allowing me to require immediate payment (which is just the solution that favors the seller (me) to paypal (he has his money right away and it is convenient and Ebay also has immediate payment and and punishes me, if That's the crazy reason, not preventing and taking away the right that every seller has to "avoid" again this same problem! In 20 years I had never done this (1 or 2 times in all those years in another account.) My current dashboard of this account that I have the current problem is very good, only 1 defect (this!) and says: and apart that has to do this with paypal?, nothing!

Anyway...really...i don't know why it problem. Is absurd if there are relation between 1 cancelled sale(without the payment!) and put a gint limited to my excellent account of 20 years for this "suposed or not" reason.I like know why!

@topbestebriefex

For cancelling with as reason "out of stock" or "the item is damaged", eBay gives you defects.

If you do the right thing, open and close an unpaid item case, the buyer gets a defect.

Please check your Seller Dashboard and see how you are doing in the eyes of eBay.

That's nice. I just searched for this issue and cannot find a solution. So, the options are:

- Contact Paypal

- Contact eBay

- Ask the Paypal community: https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/PayPal-Community/ct-p/en

You can contact eBay via Facebook or Twitter. Find on these sites how to send the eBay staff a private message.

If you have a credit card attached to your Paypal account, has it expired, or is it close to expiration?

Is this problem affecting only one or two of your listings, or all of them?

I'm wondering if maybe the real problem here is that while creating your new listing, you have somehow mistyped or accidentally deleted the PayPal email address that should be receiving the payment for the item. Can you go back into the Selling form and verify that you have the correct PayPal payment address stored there?
